Science Blogs: Ciencia de Sofa

One of the blogs on science that I like the most is Ciencia de Sofa. This blog publishes and organizes its entries on biology, geology, chemistry, mathematics, physics, astronomy, etc. It has a simple but attractive design and has been a finalist and winner of the Bitacoras awards.

The articles published by Ciencia de Sofa are quality, quite extensive and respond to curiosities or issues of great relevance in science. In addition, the author of the blog uses language that is easy to understand and with a slight touch of humour.

One of the things that I like most about this blog is that it allows users to send questions with doubts or possible information topics and later the author gives them an answer in an entry.

Vlogging involves the same process of sharing information, experiences and giving advice, but it is done in a video format as opposed to a written one. It is very easy to set up a youtube account where you can record, edit and publish video content. I think it is a perfect resource to improve oral skills.  There are three types of blog implementation in classrooms: The Tutor Blog, the Class Blog a...

Hello World!

Hi, I'm Carlos Alemany. I have studied Chemistry at the University of Alicante and the last course I studied a Master for the formation of teachers in secondary education and my level of English is B2.  At this moment I work as a tutor of mathematics, physics and chemistry and as a monitor of complementary activities of ecology and computer in a primary school of Alicante. I usually use a smartphone and a tablet to consume digital content or communicate and a laptop to work with. When I surf the internet I like to read some national newspapers, chemistry blogs, and visit the website Youtube looking for tutorials etc.  Here I leave you a picture of me in Machu Picchu, one of my favorite places on earth.
